Orange and Purple love
I’m not going to lie - one of the reasons I love our wristbands and keyrings is because my favourite colour is purple! I was very excited when we first added purple to them last year :)
When they were just orange, I used to be able to say it was for a sports team I support - useful when I didn’t feel comfortable saying what it was really for.
Added purple took away that excuse - but it gave me a jumpstart to start being brave.
When people ask now, I tell them. So far, I’ve found 2 reactions:
1. “Oh.” End of conversation. (This is fine.)
2. “Really? Tell me more”. I then get to tell them all about the great work we do at LifeSIGNS.
All of this work is entirely unpaid and unfunded, so we really do rely on the sale of our wristbands and keyrings.
This year, our 10th birthday year, they’re extra special as we return to our original name of LifeSIGNS.
